“You may be aware of the concept of taking on the energy and attitudes of the five people you spend most time with.  In essence, it’s about how other people’s views on the world tend to influence your way of seeing things.  For example, think about five people you spent time with, in the last week.  Do they see the world as filled with possibilities or do they talk about all the things that are ‘wrong’?  Or maybe they are somewhere in the middle. 

Now, think about someone with whom you LOVE spending time.  Think about the energy they bring to your time together.  Think about the conversations and experiences you have with them.  Think about how it makes you FEEL when you are together. 

Multiply that by 5.  

Imagine that you met up with these 5 Amazing People, each and every day.  What would your life look like?  How would you be feeling?  What possibilities, in life, are now available to you because you have inspiration and motivation from 5 Awesome People sharing their positive and proactive outlook on the world with you?”

Week 1 September 1-7: Acknowledge Another’s Awesome

  • Who is AWESOME in your world? Make a List.
  • Take a moment to Let Someone Know why you think they are Awesome.
  • Who are the 5 most positive influences on you, right now? Do they have anything in common? Are they filling a need within you?
  • Consider writing a FAN Letter to one or more of your “favourite 5”.

Week 2 September 8-14: Talk Turkey ~ Gobble, Gobble

  • Who LOVES the same things you Love? Make a list of Influencers, Leaders, Teachers and Friends who share the same passions as you.
  • What are you talking about? Are you Writing about what you Love and what brings you JOY? Are you chatting with friends about what you love and what brings you JOY? Make time to write about that thing you are most passionate about and post it for others to see (blog/social media). Schedule time to Chat With Like-Minded Others.
  • Reach out to your favourite Awesome Person (one who doesn’t know you). Begin a dialog with expressing gratitude for the influence they’ve had on your journey.
  • Teach someone something to do with what you are Most Passionate about.

Week 3 September 15- 21: Fill Your Bucket

  • Do an Assessment List. Write down all the people you talk to or read posts from. Ask yourself: are these people/posts having a positive influence or a negative influence on me.
  • Prioritise self-nurturing. Spend consistent time, each day, doing things you love, enJOY, receive good vibes from.
  • Ruthless Energy Clearing ~ get rid of or disconnect from anyone who is sucking the good energy out of you. Replace them with new positive Dream Weaver people.
  • Listen to podcasts or watch YouTube videos (or similar) from people who inspire you.

Week 4 September 22-28: Own It! Own. Your. Magnificence!

  • Have a conversation with yourself that goes like this: If I was to channel my inner (influential person – insert name), today I would do this …
  • Act As If you are the best version of you and do what one of your 5 people would do.
  • Create a Dream Team of 5 people you would most love to spend time with. Research all you can about them. Then, acknowledge the Mirror Effect: these people are a direct reflection of You.
  • Consider what you could learn from being in someone else’s “5 people”.

Wrap up the month with some exploration about Other People whom you admire. Sign up for a course with them. Watch online presentations they’ve offered.  Make a note of what you would like to Explore More and what would support your Journey to Finding and Creating JOY.
